Arjun Jaikumar is a new candidate for 2025.

I’m a Massachusetts native (born in Boston, grew up in Newton), the son of immigrants, and the proud parent of a current CPS student.

By day, I’m an attorney and a public servant working for the Commonwealth in Boston. Previously, I worked in private practice at WilmerHale for several years, and served as a law clerk for judges on the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. I have a B.S. from Northwestern University and a J.D. from Columbia Law School.

In the community, I currently serve on the Graham and Parks School Council and as an officer of Friends of Graham and Parks, have coached for Cambridge Youth Soccer, performed with the North Cambridge Family Opera, and served a four-year term on the Democratic State Committee.
