Alex Bowers is a new candidate for 2025.
I am committed to Partnership and Listening to Every Voice.
I’ve seen the system from every angle. A parent, a volunteer, a school council member, and a journalist. I know where it shines and where it struggles. I believe our schools can be both excellent and equitable, with stronger communication, smarter policy, and a commitment to doing the everyday work that builds trust and delivers results.
I believe the best outcomes for our schools come from working together with you. That’s why my plan begins with partnering with:
- My community who expects high achievement and excellence for our students
- Parents who advocate for their child’s success in school, and those who lend a hand to help fellow parents navigate school procedures and programs
- The grandparent who dreams big for their only grandchild, age 8, who already talks about flying to the moon
- The dad who just wants the school bus to arrive on time
- The mom whose child needs extra support, and who simply wants the right plan in place to help them thrive
